    Please follow these instructions to best prepare for your tanning appointment:

    Waxing at least 24hrs prior | Exfoliation/shaving is recommended 6-24hrs prior | No makeup, moisturisers, deodorant and perfume | Dress in loose, dark clothing

  • At Jeune Aesthetics, we understand that last minute circumstances can occur. Please advise the clinic as soon as able to advise of cancellation or inability to attend. Your deposit will be held on file for one week, in which time you can reschedule your appointment. After such time, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • After undergoing a hydrabrasion treatment, it is essential to follow these aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results and maintain skin health:

    Immediate Aftercare

    1. Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, non-irritating cleanser to wash your face. Avoid exfoliating products for at least 3 days post-treatment.

    2. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated and promote healing. Use a gentle moisturiser +/- hydrating serums such as hyaluronic acid to maintain hydration levels in the skin.

    3. Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 prior to sun exposure. Avoid direct sunlight for at least one week following the treatment.

    4. Avoid Heat: Avoid saunas, hot showers, and intense physical exercise for 24–48 hours - heat can irritate freshly treated skin.

    Days Following Treatment

    1. Limit Makeup: It is advisable to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment to allow your skin to breathe and recover. If necessary, use mineral makeup or gentle products the following day.

    2. Gentle Exfoliation: After 48 hours, if you wish to exfoliate, use a gentle exfoliator, but limit this to no more than once a week.

    3. Hydration: Continue to drink plenty of water to maintain hydration levels in your skin.

    4. Watch for Reactions: Monitor your skin for any unusual reactions, such as persistent redness or rash. If you experience any severe discomfort, contact your skincare professional.

    Long-Term Care

    1. Maintain a Routine: Incorporate a consistent skincare routine that includes hydration and protection against sun damage.

    2. Consultation: Schedule follow-up appointments with your skincare professional to assess your skin’s response and discuss any additional treatments if necessary.
